Anushka is interested in coastal resiliency, cultural geographies and investigating the intersection of the built environment and ecology. She works on issues related to housing, social equity, and climate justice with communities that are victims of socio-spatial discrimination. In her spare time, she works on data visualization and illustrations to make climate change data and urban policy research more accessible.

At present, Anushka is studying environmental and resiliency planning at the University of Pennsylvania.
