urbz has been engaged in the homegrown barrios of Bogotá since 2016 when we began taking part in participation and empowerment processes born in self-built organized communities of Cazucá or Ciudad Bolívar.

Offering technical design and architectural support to local practices and knowledge, urbz Bogotá aims at generating sustainablesolutions that meet both the residents’ needs and current environmental demands. We co-organise workshops in emerging architecture and urbanism, help establish community projects, work hand-in-hand with grassroots organizations like Proyecto Escape and document incremental systems of infrastructure innovation.
