Laureen is an EPFL architect, who highlights the impact of architecture and urban planning on society. Her interest in sociology leads her to explore the relationships between space, human behaviours and social dynamics. She is interested in designing spaces that are appropriate and meaningful for its residents and future users’ needs. She grew up in France and China, then studied and worked in Switzerland and Denmark, both in architectural offices and university research. Attracted by world cultures, she recently traveled for ten months and created a photo report on local Asian architecture.
